In medical school I started using food to cope with stress and feelings of inadequacy. Over the years, I have lost and gained weight more times than I care to remember, until I learned the skills and got the support I needed to change my relationship to myself and to food.
What I love most about what I do is hearing stories of how my clients have addressed areas in their lives that were causing them stress and how they have reframed their thoughts about food.
When I'm not working, I'm taking pictures of nature on my daily walks or doing jigsaw puzzles with my husband and son.
